StarCompliance Announces Strategic Enhancement to Executive Management Team with Industry Veteran

StarCompliance, a leading provider of compliance software in the financial services industry, announced today Todd Spillane has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer.

A 27-year veteran of the financial services industry, including the last nine years as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for Invesco’s US Compliance operations, Mr. Spillane will join the Executive Management Team and report to StarCompliance Chief Executive Officer Marc Epstein.

He will undoubtedly add value to our clients’ overall experience with StarCompliance and the ongoing evolution of our software solutions,” Mr. Epstein said. “Todd’s domain expertise, management experience, law degree and global contact base will prove invaluable as we look to expand our footprint in meeting the growing demands of regulatory compliance.”

StarCompliance provides firms a highly configurable, functionally integrated regulatory compliance software solution that underpins and imposes a streamlined regulatory compliance process. It is designed to manage, prevent, detect, report, enforce and resolve employee conflicts of interest and runs background risk surveillance to expose suspicious employee activities. The system monitors such critical compliance components as personal account dealing, insider trading, gifts and entertainment, as well as political contributions and outside business activities.
