Overview:
 Working within a small Engineering Enablement team, the role will cover a wide range of projects and technology. The team are focused on both looking further ahead than the Product Development teams to ensure that early technology decisions meet the long term aims of the business and also assisting alongside delivery of bigger projects as foundational services are required withing the platform. 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 Working as a hands-on software engineer withing the Engineering Enablement team, sitting alongside the Product Development teams. The role requires a knowledge of a wide range of technology and a long term view of how the engineering function need to prepare to deliver on the ambitious product roadmap. There is need for a strong communicator to be able to work with a range of different stakeholders and shape the technical direction of the business towards it’s aims. 

- Investigate areas of all products for performance and stability improvements 
- Research into potential new technology and it’s implementation within the existing roadmap of products 
- Building out of new services as required to support the wider StarCompliance platform 
- Assist in the bigger picture architectural plan realisation of the Star Platform 
- Working alongside Product Management to build a technical roadmap to support to product roadmap 
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices and coding standards.
