Sales Development Representative Manager

Location: Rockville, USA

Hours: Full Time

We’re looking to hire a Sales Development Representative Manager (SDRM), to hire, coach, and manage our (global) US-based team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). This team will translate inbound interest into qualified opportunities and conduct outbound outreach to key target accounts. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll play a key leadership role within the organization. You will partner closely with sales leadership and our ABM Manager to deliver & support key pipeline generating programs and operational processes. Your role is essential in helping us set, drive, and execute on our revenue goals.

 

Responsibilities 
  • Build and maintain a Team: Hire, train and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) whose role consists of prospecting, pipeline building and opportunity identification.
  • Increase efficiency & productivity: Develop a deep understanding of all aspects of the sales process; identify areas for improvement in sales enablement solutions to improve the way we sell into all our markets.
  • Actionable insight: Develop reports and dashboards to measure the efficacy of enablement solutions.
  • Operational excellence: Assist in the execution and delivery of core operational tasks, including: account & territory assignments, process design and documentation, and change management. Work closely with the SDRs to ensure lead quality, quantity, and how to manage proper follow-up.
  • Deliver & support: Drive the delivery of new enablement programs & operational processes and iteration of existing programs. Be the go-to resource for day-to-day process and content support.
  • Career development: Develop SDRs into sales-ready candidates for future Sales Engineer and Sales Executive positions.


Qualifications & Requirements
  • BA/BS in relevant discipline preferred.
  • Sales background with proven experience managing and coaching consultative SDR teams.
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Analytical and report/metric driven. Data plays a key role in your decision-making process.
  • Enjoys a fast-paced working environment. Can pivot quickly, multi-task, and demonstrates resilience.
  • Team player and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
  • Team and goal-oriented. High output; low ego.

 

Transferable Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Skills may be transferable from a role which includes sales, account management, or lead generation responsibilities.
