As Vice President of Professional Services, Julia Afflick brings over two decades of global experience with a strong background in professional services, operations, and transformative leadership, focused on enhancing our client experience and the execution of the professional services organization. Julia joined Star in the Fall of 2024, after a two-decade career that included 10 years as an active-duty Air Force paralegal with the JAG, then transitioning into corporate compliance roles, including at Home Depot. Her background includes experience in the software and SaaS industry, joining SAI Global as one of their earliest employees, where she established of their Professional Services, Governance, Risk, and Compliance divisions, successfully navigating organizational acquisitions and expansions.
