Cody Potter

Cody Potter is a Director of Regulatory Advisory Compliance at T. Rowe Price, where he leads efforts across Code of Ethics, policy governance, procedures, and compliance training. In this role, he partners closely with global stakeholders to modernize compliance programs, enhance regulatory risk management, and scale oversight as business models and products evolve.

Cody has deep experience in personal trading oversight, market abuse monitoring, political contributions (pay‑to‑play), and global Code of Ethics implementation, with a strong focus on aligning compliance frameworks to practical risk. He is actively involved in leveraging data, automation, and emerging technologies to improve monitoring, reporting, and governance efficiency.

He has been with T. Rowe Price since 2005, joining Global Compliance in 2012.

Cody earned a B.S. in business, with a concentration in finance, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Cody is a Series 7, 63, and 24 registered principal.
