Alex Taylor is the Vice President of Surveillance at CIRO monitoring Canadian Equities, Debt and Crypto. Previous to joining CIRO, Alex worked at a large Canadian dealer for 7 years heading the cash equities trading supervision group and represented the firm in industry committees and working groups. Previous to this Alex worked at a large Canadian stock exchange creating regulatory solutions and modernizing the features of the core matching system as Canada’s ATS rules evolved. Alex has a broad range of experience in Canada’s capital markets over the past two decades in various roles including mid-office, technology, sales & trading.
