StarCompliance Software offers a highly configurable web-based application for managing and enforcing a firm’s personal code of ethics. The application automates firm-wide business processes to increase compliance workflow efficiencies while reducing operational risks. The Project Manager is a client facing role with primary responsibilities for managing multiple implementations and delivering on time, to quality and budget. This involves being an intermediary between the external client, sales, client success and product development. Some travel required.

Responsibilities 
  • Manage multiple, concurrent, implementation projects to successful conclusion
  • Create, maintain and manage project plans / project backlogs
  • Drive the creation of project deliverables to achieve desired outcomes
  • Manage dependencies, risks, issues and changes to minimise impact
  • Manage client and stakeholder expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle (including use of Steering Committees) to reduce stakeholder escalations and drive high customer satisfaction
  • Provide regular reporting to internal stakeholders focusing on mitigation actions to keep deliveries on track
  • Work with the internal teams to implement the latest Agile (Scrum) best practices through Retrospectives, Communities of Practice and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Coach junior team members to high performance
Mandatory Skills, Knowledge or Experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills working with clients and internal technical and analytical staff
  • Previous project management experience in an Agile environment essential
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an attention to detail
  • Experience working with and improving process-driven Agile methodologies
  • Proactive approach to leading a team, managing a project, and problem resolution
  • Minimum 4 years as a Project Manager in a software, information services or financial services organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or a related degree OR Professional Project Management accreditation (e.g. Certified ScrumMaster, APM, PMI, PRINCE2)
  • Experience managing, implementing or supporting software implementations in financial services industry preferred
  • Previous experience working with colleagues and clients in a different time zone preferred
  • Previous experience working on client sites for consultancy or software delivery firm preferred
  • Knowledge of code of ethics regulations and compliance risks ideal but not required
  • Strong negotiation skills preferred
