StarCompliance Software offers a highly configurable web-based application for managing and enforcing a firm’s personal code of ethics.  The application automates firm-wide business processes to increase compliance workflow efficiencies while reducing operational risks.  The Project Manager is a client-facing role with primary responsibility for managing multiple product configuration and implementation engagements.  The Project Manager guides a project team composed of business analysts, configuration specialists, and quality assurance analysts, and facilitates interaction between the end client, product development, customer support, quality assurance, technical services, relationship management and sales.

Responsibilities 
  • Lead and execute multiple implementation project concurrently
  • Work with assigned StarCompliance and client resources to:
    • Create, maintain and manage project plans
    • Track and drive deliverables, including client sign-off
    • Manage dependencies, risks, issues, changes
    • Manage internal and client escalations
    • Manage project time tracking and reporting
  • Conduct necessary site visits
  • Manage client and stakeholder expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Facilitate user feedback sessions to identify problem areas and product enhancement opportunities
  • Provide regular reporting to Professional Services management
  • Measure and improve project quality
  • Work with Professional Services management and other Project Managers to implement latest best practices
  • Produce, obtain approvals and collect signatures on Statements of Work and project milestone certificates
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills working with clients and internal technical and analytical staff
  • Previous project management experience essential
  • Experience managing, implementing or supporting software implementations in financial services industry preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to document project risks / issues and track milestones
  • Excellent attention to detail and process-driven methodologies
  • Proactive approach to leading a team, managing a project, and problem resolution
  • Previous experience working with colleagues and clients in a different time zone preferred
  • Previous experience working on client sites for consultancy or software delivery firm preferred
  • Knowledge of code of ethics regulations and compliance risks ideal but not required
  • Strong negotiation skills preferred
Minimum qualifications  
  • Minimum 4 years as a Project Manager in a software or information services or financial services organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or a related degree OR
  • Professional Project Management accreditation (e.g. APM, PMI, PRINCE2)
