The Performance Testing Engineer will work within the QA team in R&D to develop, enhance, support and deliver performance testing suites for the Star product lines.

  • Track key benchmark KPI’s
  • Test Strategies / Planning
    • Scope of planning – per product / per functional area
    • Checklists – Definition of done i.e. 100% or x% with agreement coverage
    • Risk based approach (High / Low)
    • Designation of product areas by feature / functionality
    • How to approach specific areas of the application
  • Create and maintain Performance testing environment. Requires familiarity with IIS, SQL Server, SQL scripting and Windows Server.
  • Create and maintain Performance tests using Jmeter
Desired Skills and Experience
  • At least 3 years working in a similar role
  • You will have experience of working in an agile environment and be able to work successfully on your own and as part of a team.
  • The ideal candidate will be ISEB certified and have an exposure to TDD/ BDD and performance testing.
  • The candidate should have a desire to learn complex products.
  • Self-starter and ability to lead from start to finish
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent personnel and project management skills
  • Previous experience working with colleagues in a different time zone preferred.
  • Knowledge of code of ethics regulations and compliance risks ideal but not required.
  • Technical and Software experience background
  • Team player with excellent communication
  • Can produce clear and professional documentation
  • Any experience in functional test automation for web applications using selenium web-driver is a plus
