Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Location: Rockville, USA

Hours: Full Time

Accelerate your career in a rapidly growing and dynamic business with a leadership position as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, reporting to the CFO. This position starts with annual planning for our global operations and then focuses on creating action-oriented information to drive better business decisions. The ability to understand complex business needs, craft solutions and effectively communicate is fundamental to success in this position. Principle Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Partner with CFO to build annual budget and periodic forecast updates
  • Frequent direct interaction with our Private Equity Sponsor
  • Routine involvement in M&A planning
  • Lead monthly Board reporting package
  • Collaborate with internal clients to identify informational needs and develop solutions
  • Define, refresh and update key metrics as the business evolves (e.g., ARR, CAC)
  • Lead various cross-functional initiatives to ensure we capture and report critical metrics
  • Periodically review financial planning tools and upgrade as necessary
  • Develop ad hoc requests from Executive Management and Board of Directors
  • Participate in Commercial and Investment Banking discussions
Reports to
  • Chief Financial Officer

  • Demonstrated ability to create analytical frameworks across a broad range of topics
  • A passion to solve problems and improve outcomes
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication and self-awareness are essential
  • Practical experience with complex technology ecosystems
  • Direct experience with a Private Equity sponsor is highly attractive
