Account Manager

Location: USA

Hours: Full Time

The Account Manager will act as a named point of contact for their clients and coordinating client needs within the StarCompliance organization. They will build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with their contacts, focusing on maintaining high client satisfaction, managing the commercial relationship and striving to retain high client retention, increase solution utilization and account revenue. Account Mangers report directly to the Head of Relationship Management. The position requires strong, effective communication skills, attention to detail, and a motivation to drive revenue.  Communicating accurate, concise, and clear information in both verbal and written formats is essential. 


  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and long-term profitability of StarCompliance accounts
  • Cultivate strategic business relationships with both end users and top level executives within each company

  • Actively listen to each client in order to gain thorough understanding of their individualized needs and business

  • Support Commercial activity including contract renewals, work orders, and amendments.

  • Maintain detailed history of activities and satisfaction level for each relationship in Salesforce and ticketing system

  • Properly manage client’s expectations and follow through on commitments

  • Grow account revenue by identifying client needs and mapping back to our solutions.

Skills, Knowledge or Experience
  • 2 years of Account Management or Software Sales experience with financial services firms
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and adeptly manage the sales process
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Highly structured, organized and attentive to detail
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communications skills
  • Ability to see open issues to resolution
  • Experienced with Salesforce and ticketing systems
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverable deadlines in parallel
Minimum Requirements
  • College degree
